WEEKEND RESPITE
The Red Roof Retreat Weekend Respite program offers individuals with special needs a safe and fun experience while their families and caregivers get a much needed break.
Our program includes time on the farm, community outings and a variety of appropriate activities based on each child’s needs and interests.

Respite spots are available for children ages 3 to 18 and adults aged 19+ (providing they are clients previously enrolled with us). The staff-to-child ratio is 4 clients and 2 staff and staff-to-adult ratio is 3 clients and 2 staff.

As we are a charity not funded by the government, we are unable to provide one-on-one support. Clients who require one-to-one support due to severe behavioural issues, should get in touch with Contact Niagara.

Cost is $200 for children and $275 for adults per weekend. (subject to change with notification.)
Receipts will be issued upon payment and can be submitted to Special Services at Home for reimbursement.

Families interested in registering for the Children's Weekend Respite program may fill out the online Intake Application. Once it is completed, the Program Coordinator will be in contact with you.
